HELP US GIVE HELP TO THE INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

PLEASE SUPPORT US FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AND OUR OTHER PROJECTS

We are a registered Organization since 1986, catering to the needs of Disabled persons in a low-income area of Peshawar. We undertake Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) of needy all over Pakistan and AJK through our sixty active partner organizations, providing them training and technical support through our outreach programmes. RCPD has an in-house training, residential and fifty-bed facility for males and females.

We are approaching you for the purpose of assistance in kind or budgetary support for our existing and planned projects. Sizeable amount of help is required to extend our services in Education and Health, particularly our planned project for Obstetrics and Child Care Centre and Inclusive Education School Project, as an affix to RCPD.

We therefore, request you to extend your philanthropic spirit to donate for the cause to support the poor and help us realize our dream to reach out to the less fortunate in our society.

 WE SEEK:

a.      Cash or material donations to support our Inclusive Education Facility. We require Rs. 1 Million to sustain the school with two-hundred children for two years, after which we intend to make it sustainable through community mobilization. Civils works are underway.

b.      Support to employ a full-time Physiotherapist, estimated to cost Rs. 0.5 Million per year. Unfortunately our founding spirit Late Dr. Farhat Rehman died of cancer in May 2005, after putting the centre on firm foundation for twenty years. The need for a Physiotherapist is pressing.

c.       Funds or material for Repair and Maintenance of Building. Rs. 175,000.00 is required to paint, distemper and repair a covered area of 14780 sqft.

d.     Cash donations to help us raise Obstetrics and Child Care Centre estimated to cost Rs. 40.5 Million. Major Gen. (Retd.) Dr. Farrukhseir and his Lady wife have agreed to head the Project, as a volunteer and organize fund-raising events, respectively.

e.      A regular flow of food items to help us feed our patients, widows and low-income employees. (Flour, cooking oil, dall, masala, sugar, salt, tea, etc.) We have an average eating strength of 35 per day.
